Helmets for 2011

Seeing as our helmets are now 2yrs old and have had some salt immersion i am going to replace them for next season (just as a precaution) but i have also heard a rumor that there was going to be some kind of revision / enquiry over helmet specs following an incident earlier this year, can anbody tell me if there is any truth in this or should i just wait a bit ?

Can't remeber that on the RYA agenda, however, might be an area looked at more closely by scrutineers or the tech team...... replace them anyway, however, the standards i.e. CE, ACU etc won't be changed for powerboating.

Like all things they have to fit correctly to provide the designed protection, happy shopping.
