No Jonny,

Your missing the point.

Any monkey can move into the area and call himself local but the fact is that there are not many true Sotonion's left any more.

The last six generations of my family have lived and conducted their business in the city centre, so you see, there realy is only one "Holmes" family in Southampton.

All right for some aint it, I've spent the best part of today trying to book a ski holiday for Saturday, tried everywhere, New England , France, Italy Austria etc, the only thing available was Geilo in Norway, so I'm not going.

Travel agents reckon it's the busiest season ever!

Thats a bummer mate.

I booked up about 6 weeks ago but was surprised at the cost of the flights, not as cheap as in the past. Maybe that shows the increase in the number of people taking skiing holidays!

Anyway, youve just had a week in Miami.

Sod Italy

had a short break in Cervinia a couple of years back, stayed in i nice family hotel at the base of the Mattehorn.

Fantastic scenery and amazing views from the top of Zermatt but skiing was awful. Hard sheet ice.
