Errr, not sure what I am offering on?
Are you answering for James?? Very confused here? The message I sent James is showing as having been read?
Can James PM me so we can talk directly or by email, I don't want to post phone numbers & emails on a public forum if it can be avoided, hence the PM being there.

I think we have a small communication interpretation error here... :p
This is what's going on :
James (aka user larby) is asked for PM by
- Alacrity
- stevie
- Toffy (me)
There seems to be quite some interest in his throttle or adaptor piece !
Greets, T.

Larby, are you still offering the cable for the Hot Foot controls to adapt them as a "dual action" setup (allowing for the use of the foot controls AND the hand controls)?

We developed an adaptor to allow both a foot throttle and a hand throttle to be used, both with 33c cables (these can be used with merc adaptors at the other end if required). It's a very simple design.
We haven't made one up yet but I'd be happy to do so if you're wanting one. I'd love to see you use one in conjunction with our throttle, but it would work with any other throttle such as hot foot too if you want dual control.
Cheers, James

Hello James ,this is a really old thread that I came across searching for a dual throttle set up . Did you ever get a finished product ? This is something I want to do to my project boat . I like the idea of foot pedal but I don't want to give up the hand throttle for the long cruise or long no wake zones . Any info on this would be great ! Thanks Erik

Hello Toffy, did you ever come up with anything to run both hand and foot throttle? Thanks Erik

I talked to someone today about the in control and was told it only does the foot control. I have just started my search for project I'm building over the winter. If I get all parts n front of me I can probably make something happen . It would be easier if somebody already has something.i will try another seller of the in control and see what they say .thanks

I believe they haven't made dusk throttle since it became n control.
I have this. But only use it as single control at the mo

Dual Station Foot-Hand throttle
A couple of thoughts for dual station throttle set-up
If properly maintained dual station set ups worked well in flybridge cruisers, sport fishers etc but these soon got sticky and problematical if overlooked. They also required additional mounting space. I was never confident in them for a sports boat / high performance application. The idea of the throttle jamming at 70mph in a lightweight boat in choppy sea isn’t much fun. When I was first thinking about this question (1995 ish!) Fly-by-wire was also starting to appear in the pleasure boat sector but like dual station it was another link in the chain and delays in actuator response were measured in days not milliseconds OK for big old flybridge or commercial but out of reach for most small boat owners (and beyond their comfort zone if they weren’t physically welded to the motor!)
Now modern motors manufactured with fly by wire technology makes changing station a tap of a screen, push of button exercise and holding wakeboard-ski-launch control speeds are all done by magic fairies working the throttle under the cowling.
A couple of considerations.
The days you want ski-tube etc will probably be calm and a hand throttle will cover high speeds on that ‘calm’ day – stretch of water
The choppy days for getting off the throttle quickly you probably won’t be skiing unless you’re subscribed to one of the forums lower down the page!
Options:
Run a second control cable from control box sleeved safely in pipe/tube and routed under cowl not to interfere with any linkages etc
For some older Mercury V6 products this swap between throttle cables doesn’t even require tools and can be done from inside the boat.
For later high performance and other brands where a bolted retainer is used I imagine most subscribed to this thread should be able to swap it in a few minutes before heading out on the water for the day skiing or blasting around.
Alternative suggestion as you’re probably only heading ahead when skiing is a couple of ball joint’s and link rod that can work the foot throttle (bungee – spring disconnected) from the hand throttle if it’s for occasional use. Depending on control box mounting in relation to foot throttle. A Ring / Phantom etc type control box position could work
The above are just simple/crude solutions as it looked like there was also a price question. These come in reasonably cheaply.
Now I'd look at the purpose built items but for a simple unobtrusive fix the above can work in some cases.
Like anything that involves messing around with throttle making sure anyone operating the boat is aware of anything non-standard but in most cases, it’s owner/operator
Hope this helps

Yes
It's a little bit extra for the hand setup. I bought the attachment but haven't used it. Sture who makes them sends instructions. Pm me your email and I'll send them for you to digest.
