Where on the boat is it?
Is it gel or paint?
Is just typical stress cracking, If painted then rub out and blow in a new bit, however if that was fairly new paint it's likely to do the same again soon.
If it's in gel i believe you'd rub it out and re-gel the section, that seems easy enough on the small bit however I'm not sure about how you'd do the larger section.
Well that's how I'd do it but I'm no pro.....
Hope it can help in some way,
Max

Those cracks are in gel the boat wasn't painted
I have couple 10-15cm cracks and one big one like 30x40cm on the side of the boat ( first pic )
And there is another problem to find exact color of gel and a bit difficult to do that on big section.
Thanks anyway
Any other ideas??
I was thinking about filling it up with resin and paint it, but then I have to paint whole boat and I don't know if any paint would handle riding on salt water and it would not crakch again
I don't know if it is good idea

On my phantom 18 it had stress cracks all over it looked quite bad.. i had the top deck sanded , high build primed and the painted. most two packs are fine inthe water just as long there not permently submerged.
i would personally leave them. if you do try and regel getting the match could be tricky. i don,t know what yellow goes like with age. the paint does crack again but it depends on your driving style

Another question
Do you know how to contact the producer of 1997 RING ??
I would like to know the serial number of this gelcoat or maybe even buy some of it from him to match the colors of my boat
Thanks
MIKE

I wouldn't think mike would know the colour, and anyhow, new gel wouldn't match the old. Yellow is a terrible colour for fading!

The top pic looks like paint over gel to me, but I guess that could be a trick of the light/photo.

you need a colour card to match the colour, or a sample of gelcoat to send to be matched to, as tony says very difficult to get looking right is yellow....
