my water impeller. one of the fins is facing the other way????

Simply as a precaution (and it looks like the fins have taken a set) I'd replace it, and the housing. Cheap insurance IMVHO

already got a new housing hence why i took the old one off. will get a new impeller though to be on the safe side. just wondered why 1 fin was facing the other way

IS THIS RIGHT

The blades often turn when the engine is stopped nothing to worry about, Don't use aftermarket impellers use genuine, these impellers should be replaced every year.

Burty

Lubricate the impeller (fairy liquid)
Then just gently force the water pump housing down over the impeller whilst turning the drive shaft clockwise. This should force all the impeller blades in the same direction

I dont agree with this, i think i should turn shaft anti clockwise
