Compounding machine looks like this,
a good boat cover is a good investment to protect from UV light damage (Chalking) once you have the boat all polished up .

thas not bad,
hadnt really thought or respraying
got the facilities in on of our worshops here actually,
sprayed one of me cars in there
could always key it back, n relaquer, would that work??
would wana keep it black

Go post some photos of your boat now, as i couldnt get a good look at it last night as it was 10.0 clock before i picked the gear up, pitch black it was.

Chris has now polished up his boat, but for others wanting to know about polishing, here is a site with all the answers.
I only found this as i was down in Leeds on Tuesday auditing a paintshop, one of the guys there is in to detailing, he has the £2000 Zymol polish which is the Rolls Royce of polishes behind the £7500 tub.
There is a lot of good info on this site I had a read through some of the info yesterday, seems good.
Hope this helps others.

Nah, That zymol is the top of the ladder stuff, but for us here, there are a lot of good tips about which polishes and wash products and clays etc.
It does not have to cost fortune to bring the deep shine back to your boat, its more a method of best practices.
I even found a feature on restoring gel coat yesterday.
