I rekon you'd be a good tonne and a half with the trailer and everything too. Easiest way to find out is to take it to the weighbridge. So in theory you should be good with a 90, as they weigh just under 2 tonne i think. Worth weighing the rig to be sure though, if it's over 1700kg you're screwed! lol!

My dads digger has been towed by Mieys (spelling!) the JCB agents with a landy and the digger is 3.0 tonnes. So I'm pretty sure the 750kg applies to NON braked trailers only and i think that's what they told me when I booked them. it was over a year ago so can't be sure.

I think you can tow your boat from bridge to town without an escort, and I've seen boats a lot bigger than yours taking that route un escorted. Look in your tide table, I think the info's there.
