Making a 225optimax sound sporty

Hi does anyone know how I can make my 225hp optimax sound loud and sporty? Thanks Dave

drill the exhaust or.... insert a exhaust tuner

What he said, but it will have an effect on the resale value! Have you seen the 200xs for sale with a Sportmaster gearbox? It will sound like a race boat and handle better with the Sportmaster, probably will be about the same speed as the Opti as well.

Thread hijack.. Can the sports master gearbox be bolted onto a standard V6 Long shaft leg? Or are the shaft lengths etc different.

Cheers Cookee I have bought and fitted a 250xs engine today. Have to say it sounds awesome as it is :-)

Not overly worried about the resale value as I love my Banana Shark 770 and Opti engine far to much to consider selling.

The pair are an amazing combination.
