Manually raise 300xs

Hi

Does anyone know if I can manually raise my 300xs?? The trim pump is mounted under the back seat and the up solenoid has gone, to get to it I need to drain or use 180litres of fuel :-/

I'd sooner raise the engine a bit and go for blast around than try and syphon that lot!!

Thanks :-)

Can't you just "jump" the 'up' solenoid or is the problem that you can't access it?

Solenoid

Hi it's all fixed now.

But the issue is that because it's an external trim pump it's under the back seat and to get to it you have to drain the 200litre fuel tank.

So I wanted to raise the engine up so I could drive the boat and use some of the fuel, rather than have to suck it all out.

Cheers anyway Chief :-)
