Merc 2+2 engines

Just wondering if it's possible to fiddle with a mercrury 115/125 2 stroke engine. Sure somebody told me it's possible to get the engine to run on 4 cylinders all the time instead of 2 and the other 2 kicking in at 2200 revs?

I believe you would need to replace the top 2 carbs as they have no idle circuit in them, but i am not 100 percent sure about the ignition system on them.

I am pretty sure it is just the top two carbs do not allow any fuel through at slow speeds, so you would have to buy another 2 bottom carbs to put on the top
