Mercury 150hp Easyshift Gear

Can anyone advise what oil i need to put in for the gearbox oil for a 150hp box

I always use quicksilver high performance gear lube.

Same here , i dont care what kind of engine it is even the 10hp merc on my tender get's high perf. lube from quicksilver .

Does anyone know the actual specification of the oil/grease used? I have access to oil and grease at work, and if I dont have to buy it, why should I!!!!!

So shims, carriers, waterpumps & dog clutches are all OK?

That is why I was trying to find the spec!!!!!
I've heard of people using ep80 with no problems.
One of the oils we use is a fully synthetic oil from mobil which is over and above ep80. API GL-5 where as ep80 is only API GL-4.
