Mercury 200hp

Hi All, I'm looking at a 200hp 2 stroke mercury, can't make out whether its a 2.4 or 2.5 as it was hard to see all of the powerhead, but there was a small oil tank up by the fly wheel am i right in thinking that this would mean its a newer 2.5?

P.S its a clam shell cowling.

The later 2.4s are oil injected and if its clam cowl its deffo a 2.4,all the 2.5s are bucket/lift off cowl.

Just have a look at the block if the transfer ports are straight its a 2.5 and if there curved its a 2.4,posted up a picture of the throttle side of the block if your not sure.

picture is a 2.5

hope this helps
