Movement on tilt tube

i,ve a offshore leg with a bit off play on the tilt tube how do i sort this ??

i,ve tried to nip the nut on the end of the tilt tube but this has not helped. Are the tubes straight in to the ali saddle or is there a bush in there that wears

Tube goes straight into the saddle. Are you sure its not moving on the saddle end pieces? If it isnt its a new saddle im afraid. If its in the end pieces you can remove em and get some bushes pressed in to bring em back to original sizes.

yes its moving on the end pieces of the saddle . i take it the bushes are something i,m going to have made up.

Yup machine out ya end piece then have new bushes made and pressed in.
