It would appear that the price of diesel is going to get far dearer. On a barrel of oil only 30% is allotted to Diesel production. With the amount of petrol needed in the near future (China springs to mind), this percentage could come down.
I have got to change cars soon (just put 120,000 miles on my 5 Series in a year ) and the diesel option isn’t looking so attractive, either on running costs or re-sale.

As well as a cheaper run for me, it would give my customers a more fragrant journey - Dido looked none too happy tonight.
Sorry Morgs totally hijacked your thread - 2 x Lambo V12's is the answer - and to hell with the Guernsey Green Party.

Interesting, I have heard that the Yanmar is a great option if you like deafening yourself, I will look into it though and second hand actually exists in this one.

(GM) V8 6.5l another, quite good if I can can utilise the existing equipment, I have just been given the extras list wow, loom, controls, gauges, fuel filters, trim etc. The whole shooting match it is a couple of k for the bits.

V12 lambo's - would be so cool, do you think MTV would do and episode of pimp my boat?

Chainsaw to the bathing platform, nah I need to keep this boat tart friendly. Resale humm not sure about that one.

No McDonalds in Guernsey so that rules out the alternative fuel source.
