New Boat engine help

Hi everyone, I am new here and would like a bit of help, I have bought another boat to add to the collection of restoration projects on the go,

It is a Hunton 28, I don't know much about this boat, all I know is that it was bought a while back, had its engines and stern drives removed and sold and now it needs a couple of oars to get it going

I am looking to put either one engine and stern drive in put 2 back in and poss put diesels in instead of petrol.

Any ideas??

regards

PM Charlie, I'm sure he'll be able to advise you on the single diesel route... As for me I'm afraid its V8s all the way

My project is coming along...even trial fitted an engine today to locate the solid mounts. Just wiring (Larby on here is doing that) and engine final fit to go oh and a little gel repair but its coming together.

If you can get in touch with him Bus Pass on here is Jeff Hunton...and he knows a thing or two about em. Oh and let him talk you into V8s they're more fun and if its fuel economy you want then go MPi like the V24 guys

Good luck with the project, keep smilin
