opening a cle
How do i open up da box? tried taping the big nut round but she wont budge. someone said drill it?. Ive emptied fluid and theres loads of metal there and even i big lump fell out.

theres a key that fits in the ali ring over the prop shaft. but these do seize in you can carefully drill it in several places and then knock it out be very careful only to drill the ring not the housing

But you'd be best starting with the right tool and trynig a bit of heat if it doesn't budge.

You remove the bearing Carrier & Shaft as an assembly. Will try & scan the relevant pages 2 nite 4 u.

Dont try and knock it out goes all pissed. make up a little puller with some tube, plate, which slides over the propshaft then use the propshaft nut to wind out the carrier, or a 3 or 4 leg puller if you have one

You have to remove the shiftshaft also.Otherwise the propshaft won`t come out.

Yep sure recommend a good dealer purley on the tool requirement that makes the job easier, does cover shimming of the box in the manual though.
0.025" is always a magic number.
if you get stuck thats the thickness of your average hacksaw blade (plain area)
