optimax 225 HT leads

HI all,
Does anyone know of any alternatives to Mercury original equipment HT leads? I have seen some advertised in the States that claim to be better as well as cheaper.

Just wondering wether anyone is doing anything along these lines in UK.

Also I am suffering corrosion in the two bottom cylinder HT leads, does anyone know if this is a common weakness on the optis?
