Hé!
Nice, i just woke my "new" 1992 xr2 up after a 3,5 year stop.
Its quite simple.
I have rebuilded and ultrasone cleaned the carburators.
Gasket kits are not expensive but i would recommend to also replace the needles and neadle seats, I don't know the prices down there but those were about $30,- for a set. (You wil need 3 of them of course)
Also replace the bleed lines, to be safe I have pumped oil in the bleedlines to the top and bottom big end bearings, also try to suck the oil out on top, is you can't get the oil back you will be fine.
Of course you should place new spark plugs, check bolts and the electrical harness, I dont know if you had the engine before storage, if not you can better be safe than sorry and check everything that might be loose or not in place.
Don't forget to change your gear lube and water pump , also check your waterpump housing, if it's worn out or you're in doubt... replace it!
How many psi do you got on your head
Good luck! Is an awesome engine.
