Phantom 16

Hello Guys,

i have finnally laid my hands on a Phantom 16 Shell, the boat is solid but is in need of some "tarting up" so i have started to rub it all back and plan to re spray it. However i have some questions to ask.

1. What paint will i need to spray it? and where can i get it from.

2. The boat seems not to have any cross members or bulkheads forward of the dashboard is this normal or do i need to put some in.

3. Where can i get rub rail from.

4. Is it possbile to get new screens for them?

5. I was planning on putting a 2 stroke 90 on it does anyone have a cheap ish one for sale?

6. I need somthing to cover the dash in as there is many holes already in it, any ideas as what to use?

We are currently having great fun refurbing a 16' Phantom / 90 Yamaha to race in OCR in 2009.

1. 2 pack / fibre glass etch primer.

2. It depends what you are going to do with the boat but you would need deck supports to mount a kick board.

5. A 2 stroke 90 is a great combination for the 16' Phantom - have you tried http://www.boatsandoutboards.co.uk Keep looking they do come up quite often.

6. Fibreglass from behind to re-strengthen and then fill and respray.
