update

Where a step further ,we made a ss front engine mount and made custom tailpipes on the headers wich we turned forward due to lack of space on the back .after this part we know why cmi is so expensive it takes alot time to make such things !!
Also got the new seats this weekend

Look stunning !

Did you decrease the diameter of the outletpipes ?
Aren't the outletpipes a bit close to the sides ? I guess the outletpipes can heat up quite a bit.

Just remarks to help you, keep up the impressive good work.
Greets, T.

Yes the engine makes more hp and tq on the smaller pipes, they are water-cooled all the way to the end that must keep the temp down .

All remarks are welcome !!

Thx

Looking very good! Where did you get the equal radius bends for your inner and outer wall of the exhaust?

Thanks, James

Ferrarris in Ringwood carry a stock of them. Or Simon (pennpromo) could probably source some for you.

Yeah I can get stainless bends no problem, but the radius of the bend is always relative to the radius of the pipe. I'd rather not go for different radiuses as I want to keep the water jacket as thin as possible to keep weight down without risking hotspots as an already tight area possibly touches. I'm now looking at a new plan with carbon outers...

Cheers, James

progress

did make some progress this weekend ,we maked 2 special fittings from 3/4" thru hull fittings from stainless where we tig'd 2 big rings on whit a chamber for a o ring and on the other side a dash 8 male to connect the port and starboard tank to level ,whiteout the risk they will leak !

Also installed the vents and fuel fill on the back and measured the route and place of all the fuel supply parts (low pressure pump ,catch tank, 2 filters and the high pressure pump ) to get enough fuel to the nasty small block .
