I'm not sure myself, but the twin XR2's must be easy to guestimate as most 25's that raced had twin 175's (or perhaps 200's as they were then).

Need an ex racer....................... Think Tony Davis had a 25 twin so he may know.

what 25 did you buy?

Thought about 70 - 75 twins are a nice balanced feel on the boat

I think a good one would run 75 back in the 175 days (150 propshaft hp) so a decently set up one with a pair of 192 propshaft hp motors aughta do pretty close to 80

boats been sanded so many colours on the sides, white deck and original dark-navy blue bottom gelcoat. I'll try and get some pictures in the next couple of days. In the mean time if I can have any advances 80mph it will boast my eago

Not sure yet whether to run the 2 xr2s or single 2.5efi best get me a petrol discount card. Could always go for the big one and run 2 2.5efis

Nahh talking to a chap today whos had alot to do with rigging phantoms and recons that with2 xr2s the boat gets very scetchy and apart from that with the 2.5efi and the right setup on the prop it should run in to the 70's easily which means Scotty I will be going fast comfortably while you will be getting your arse butt fked by the seat of the batboat while hanging on to the steering for and screaming down the intercome like a girlie Still I have some latham steering somewhere oh yeh give it back you ponsing tosser or i'll tell mmmmmmy-your mummy
