Prop any one seen one like this

Any body know what this is...?? (apart from a prop of sort) pair of them fitted on a 21 food boat,
Just looks wrong any comments or help...???

looks like an aeroplane prop to me, maybe the guy put the wrong sort of prop on ,he he

i know it sounds crazy, and i hope im not going mad, but by the look of the controls inside the boat there is a box and switch that alters the pitch of the blades, i think that is off an aircraft, surely that never went along

it looks like an adjustable pitch prop, cant see why on that boat though.
