question for gav

hi mate,been thinking of bonding in the screen and flushing it to the deck with gelcoat,do you think it will be ok or flex to much and crack?

tricky one really without seeing it properly, in theory yes it should work, but how thick is the black screen? may need beefing up first, then bonding to the deck. if the gap on the outside is large then i would chamfer the screen edge and fill with resin/fibres mix first then gelcoat after. be sure to key any areas where adhesion is most important to stop any cracking.

cheers dude,it will be a barstard to do because ive got to finish (paint) the inside of the screen and dash area first before i do it,the screen is very strong,ie mr rob used to sit on it(sorry rob) and the top egde is moulded over (see pic) from memory its about 6mm lay up,just reckon it would look the dogs when done
