Quicksilver Throttle Sidemount

Guys gettin my side mount out has been, lets say a pain in the butt.

I'm guessing that when you remove the locking screw at the base of the handle it should slip nicely off the splines??

Or do they have a habit of the handle fusing itself to the splines over time, because I can't get mine to shift

Also inside the handle there is a thin brass bar about 150mm long, links to the finger trigger, when I dropped the cover off the handle the bugger slipped out and I now can't figure how it sat back in there a pic of how it sits would be great.

Ideas?

Puddle of oil in the splines overnight?

Cheers,

Damon

Deeerrr,
Sorted it out, have some dinner after work, grab a couple of cold ones, exit to the garage, use a bit of logic for half an hour and hey presto fixed the bugger.
The handle just needed a bit of WD and a 'little' persuasion.
Next step, dashboard out and dash pad. Clocks out, wheel off and hydraulic steering out.
