Rebuilding my 2.0 EFI powerhead

I am rebuilding a 2.0 EFI powerhead that has been laying around my friends shop for over 10 years. I believe it is a '98 F1 powerhead. I have pulled it apart and so far found only stock parts and it doesn't look like it has ever been apart before. I've only found the part numbers on the heads don't match. I suspect they might have been swapped with bigger ones to be able to run on 98 octane rather then 100LL which is much harder to get here in Holland. I haven't had time to measure them yet but from the part number they seem to be from a 150HP (18787C4)

I need some help to determine which EPROM is fitted to the ECU. (see picture)

I would also like to re-ring the pistons but I have a hard time finding a set of rings.

The piston are part number: 703 848436A2 (starboard) and 703 848437A2
The rings should be part number: 39 673772

I would also be interested in a set of stock heads: 18787A1

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think its an A63 ECU with the limiter at 11500.

Does anyone know which adapter and tuner would work with this powerhead? I would really like to run it on a straight leg.

There's not many parts still available for that engine. Pistons and rings are especially difficult to find. Also it's porting and reliability are not well suited to slower speed running or pleasure use. It would be a shame to break it if it is in good condition like you say but I'm afraid there's not really any demand for them any more which is why it's probably sat around for 10 years or so. Good Power though we had 140 odd mph from ours.

Thanks for that.

I am planning to bolt it to my Phantom 16. I have a ski boat for pleasure and cruising. This will probably only see water a couple times a year.

Would you know about a pair of stock heads? I think they should be 21cc.

You actually know my Phantom. You sold it with a 115 Yamaha on it and the guy only wanted the motor. I picked up the hull and trailer in Liverpool. I don't remember if it was at your place or the guy that bought the engine off you. It's undergoing some mayor repairs and improvements at the moment. New transom stringers and part of the floor. All much beefier than standard of course.

Sorry for the separate post. I wasn't allowed to edit the first post anymore.

I know it's a bit of a funny combo.

We traded some parts as well if you remember. You bought a 20" OS mid off me and I bought a 20" can of you a couple years later. You also made me a template for my P16 window. I still remember having lunch at he place next to the meat factory in Mainz I believe

Don't waste your time putting it on a 16ft Phantom as I know someone who put an old 175 Merc on a 16ft Ring and it was terrible and that's not as powerful
