ring 18 bow tank fitting??

just picked up my new bow tank,. from a p19
all good, and me, being impatient went to fit it startight away
the only problem is the tank fouls on the wich eye that comes thorugh the back of the boat
is this far enoygh up the boat to make a worthwile effect

No because the winch eye on yours is about 3 foot from the bow.
cut the excess thread off the back of the winch eye cover in foam tape then move the tank further forward
