Ring 18c - Yamaha 90 Propellor Suggestions

Hi all,

What sort of stainless steel propellor would you recommend for my 90HP Yamaha outboard on my Ring 18? At present the engine has the standard Yamaha propellor but I have been told that it may run better with a more efficient propellor?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated,
Many thanks, Sam.

Do you know what size your current prop is? Also what revs and speed you're currently getting flat out with a normal load?

I'd guess a small Lazer II would be the kind of thing you're looking for

Hi Paul,

I'm unsure of the revs at present as my rev counter is not yet connected - top speed tops out at 42mph on the GPS though.

Sam.

Sam.
You need to get the rev counter hooked up, and have a look on your current prop - the size should be stamped on it somewhere. Get that info and there's bound to be someone that can point you in the right direction. Lifting the motor may help you also
