Rough Running.

OK,

Popped down the friggin Mariner after work tonight to check the Sexy Beast is ready for a damm good thrashin this weekend and what do i find?

No, Batteries are good.

No, the boats still there.

Well ill tell you what. I fires the girl up and shes idling rough and misfiring an at. Well i checks the dizzy aint damp an thats ok, and everything looks as it should but shes runnin rough.

Pikey bloke down the Marina says" You godda shit in de carbs mate"!

How often i got a do that then? any ideas anyone?

it appears that the misfiring is common to both banks and not just one. the engine appears to hunt a little. (No deerstalker jokes please).

Its a 454 7.2L 330hp Bravo 1990 with 150 hours and full service history.

Any ideas chaps?

Cheers Simon,

I was planning to look at the manifolds during the off season.

I think you could be right with your diagnosis and as its pouring with rain as i type i think the off season has begun and ill pull her out and investigate.

I will let you know the outcome in due course.

Thanks.
