Thumbs up Sea toilet inlet/outlet positioning???

Does anyone know where would be the best possition for the skin fittings in a performance hull. Have had some advice to put low down in the v but will this have some effect on water flow under the hull at speed.

Ps. Not talking in the context of having a dump and flushing at 60mph!!!

Cheers Simon

I've fitted them either side of the keel in my boats and not had a problem. Don't forget to fit a loop above the water line, and decent sea cocks.

wot u doin on the hard boat .com?

Progressed slightly!!!! More questions - Got thumping great stringers between the bathroom floor and the keel and no room between. The only way without big surgery I can get low in the V is to pipe back to the engine bay down the sides and across. Would it still be ok to put a skin fitting back there? Or I could get it in face down in the reverse chine.

What do ya recon?

you'll be opening a can of worms running the pipes that far, it will be ok to do the small pipe but can you imagine the shit laying in the big one, there's got to be somewhere you can put a 11/2 fitting, if you're afraid of drilling a hole in your lovely new boat, i ain't. sit there and lookat it with a cuppa, you can put 90 bends striaght on the skin fitting, cut it down low with just enough thread or get a wife that don't mind shitting over the side, have you got a plumber mate near you he'll have the answer or get me a pic
