Send a message via MSN to odjsabre
seastar tournament

I believe it is designed primarily for multiple high horsepower engine installations.

Exact, the max Hp says Above 200HP, but cannot see the limit?!

For the same question, here is the reply of TELEFLEX Canada:

The PRO system is designed for use in a single engine, high speed boat (bass, flats, race...etc..)..

The tournament system is designed for use in a multi-engine application (center consul off shore type boat)

To assist with the best system for you, can you let me know your answers to the following;

· make and model of boat
· make and quantity of engines
· top speed of boat

Hope that helps
Bruno

Thanks for the email. The SeaStar PRO cylinder and the tournament cylinder are both rated to 350HP for single engines, they are very similar in design so to be honest, go with the SeaStar PRO cylinder as I believe that it is cheaper in price.

I recommend that you order the following part numbers;

· HH5770, PRO helm pump, 1 ea
· HC6345, PRO steering cylinder, 1 ea
· HO57xx, PRO steering hoses, 1 ea
· HA5430, Oil, 2 ea

You will be able to order the above from any marine parts dealer

I know which one I'd be opting for if I was testing their 350hp rating!
