Size of the thread on a 200/225 mecury prop shaft

Hi I need to buy a nylock nut to hold my modified Raker 1 prop on my Mercury 250xs leg. The 200/225 optimaxs use the same leg/thread.

Anyone know the size?

Thanks

Dave :-)

prop shaft threads on merc 250 XS

Hi,
The thread for the prop shaft nut is 3/4 UNF, so 16 threads per inch.
If you need a brass nut lock only, you can buy SIERRA SIE-183700.
