Speed rails

Has anyone tried to put speed rails on a phantom?
If so what if any, handling characteristics changed?
I.e. Better holding in turns, less chine hop at wot??
Or should it be left to SB's judgement? Not trying to
Reinvent the wheel, just looking for an edge.

im guessing.... but i would imagine the latter thinking to include the phantom pad would have been along the same lines of improvement that speed rails would give. main examples being early and late p21 and the p20/ 600 differences.

I tried the Volvo speed rails on my Phantom 21 many years ago - didn't find any noticeable improvement in handling or speed. I did however find an escalation of money movement out of my wallet as I lost at least 3 rails despite them being attached with Silkaflex and self tappers. just kept ripping the bastards off!

I was thinking to maybe to reduce chine hop, as on the crouch last season, on day 2 ( flat calm), I was struggling to keep it stable.maybe it's a prop issue but thought I might go done another route aswell.

I'd be looking at balance - Move the carlsberg crate around the floor until it feels right?

When taking air, why not just smile at the camera?plenty of time to take in the aerial view.
Anyhow a profile of my nose is even worse.
