Starbrite Fully Synthetic Oil?

Hello to everyone! my very first post on this forum, so go easy! I have been reading on all the American websites that Pennzoil 100% Fully Synthetic TCW3 oil is perhaps the most popular oil to run over there. Low Smoke, No soot, Clean burning, Cheaper than most too. But I have been un-able to source it here in the UK. Does anybody sell it? I have however found that my local chandlery shop (and also www.rib-shop.com) sell StarBrite Super Premium Plus TCW3 oil at around £26 for a gallon and according to the starbrite website it is fully synthetic. It shows a Coker Test? on their website that suggests its cleaner burning than pennzoil various other oils. My question is, is anybody here using it and are they happy with it? Many Thanks

Regards

Robbie

Depends what your running as to the prefered oil to use.

I use Castrol Bio or Rock Oil - Aslyn if I could get it here in the UK wouldn't touch Penz with a bargepole many conflicting reports in the US just got to make your own call

Thanks for advice Blufin. I am waiting on a couple of local campanys to get back to me with a price for a case of the 'Castrol Biolube 2T' I'm pretty clue-less on this synthetics subject as you may have already gathered! And I dont really race as such. Will it produce less smoke than yamalube in an older yamaha? How do you find it burns? Is it quite clean (low smoke?) low soot? Thanks for help

Regards
