starter motor

Hi All, does anyone know where I can get an exploded diagram of how to fit a starter to a 1998 4.3 EFI mercruiser?
What price I should be paying for re-conditioning my current unit and where would be the best place to buy a new one. and finaly how many hours a marine engineer should charge to fit one.
Cheers, Darren.

4.3 MERCRUISER STARTER

The list price for the starter is £264.28 + vat, Its a bit of a nightmare to fit as it is fitted low on stb side of engine, time to fit depends on access sometimes engine has to come out, if access is good should'nt cost more than an hours labour.

If you are in Southampton area BBMS ltd can help you or any other Mercruiser dealer.
