Stepped hull trailers

Bunks or rollers? I had a American regal, several years ago and the rollers used to wedge in the step when launching. It used to rip the rollers off at times. Now I got a bunk trailer and that also trips on the step. I remember the ocke boats used to have big rollers, I presume to overcome the step. Then there is the roller v bunk support to consider. I don't like getting my feet wet and like to drive off on at the slip. Was thinking of modifying current trailer to roller or part roller

Just put thr trailer deeper in the water until the boat floats past the step.Its Less hassle than modifying your trailer. If that's no good then try pneumatic wheels instead of rollers.

Unfortunately that don't work to well at my loc slip. The car also doesn't like getting its feet wet, and there is a drop off at the bottom of the slip. Additionally the swell there means if a boat is floating on the trailer it will get banged around. But if its driven onto rollers or out the water, it instantly out the swell, while I get me out of the boat and car too.

Pneumatic tyres, like blow up jockey wheels? Is that what the bat boats used to have?
