Hi

What year DT200 is it?

Do you also have the Standard Suzuki Monitor(Multigauge) to connect up?

I have a genuine Suzuki manual that covers my DT200EFI by way of a suppliment. The wiring diagrams are not good, being in Black and White, but they are better than nothing.
I fitted my own engine including all the wiring, and it does make sense once you have the diagram.

Could photocopy it for you, but not until Tuesday, don't have a scanner I'm afraid.

Hi

Having looked at the diagram the Tacho wires are Green, Black and Yellow, all connecting to the same colour wires coming out of the control box.

There should also be another black, and a Red/Green wire coming out of the Tacho, these are for the backlight.

The tacho should of course be set to 12 pole operation.

Don't worry about it being a bit older than you thought, its still a good engine.

Hi

The short answer is how much do you want to spend?

In reality, it should have a minimum of a Tacho and the Suzuki multigauge that shows 2-stroke oil level, overheat alarm etc.
