Yeh, 20 amp is correct, but why would you need more than that?

Yeah fair enough, I can't think of what you'd need a 30 amp switch for....but mine are still better. lol
I got given a whole box of em from this elec manufacturing comp who closed down, I used to get mine from them you see. I thought that if it was carling switches he wanted I could do him a deal as all I was really after was a drink for them.

thanks to everyone who had given me sound , techinical and friendly advice. I've been trying to go as fast as I can in my home made boat now for the last ten years and its nice to chat and get advice without the bullshite.

I stick a thread up over the next week with some pic of what I've done, what I thought I was going to do and what I'm actually doing now.

Cos/mirage, thanks for the offer, I'm sure you'll shift them soon.

Mr Davis, I've succeeded in detaching the internals of the switch from the body & returning them to their former state, but how do I detach the switch from the surround?

not to woried as got given them and its handy knowing i will never need to buy anymore. i,m new to the web sight here and i have had some nice friendly advice and help i can see from reading threads on here that the majority of people on here have a masive wealth of experiance off boat design and set up i,m hoping i will be able to return this help with some of my knowledge ive been in the motor trade 20years and have lots of chevy experiance tuning and fabrication as well. hope i some of this might come in use to someone.
