Trim Pin
How do i take my trim pin out of the end of the power trim ram? its not a 'knock it out' one....... it has a slot that looks like you could unsrew but wont budge??

I dont know, but what i can tell you is that i've seen several engines, some of my previous ones included; where they've dropped out!
I always just replace them with a longditudinal split pin

Dude the slot may not be for unscrewing it but meerly a key way for a trim sender unit, so it may still be a knock out one, maybe.

ok i'll give it a belting tomorrow then, Burty tried to knock it out but it wouldnt budge....... but then he was probably too tired!

So it turns out that it doesnt screw out you were just simply too soft lol.
All it needed was an Irish Screw Driver all along! hehe.
