The problem is Codders, your initial comment suggested that the Tirfer was the tool generally used for such tasks (lorry lifting, etc.) when it's far more likely that they've been used in desperation on the odd occasion, which is a whole lot different.

changing the subject back to the topic! ive sorted it now,im gonna mack a bracket with an eye and bolt it to the transom using holes for engine, lift it with a tractor and turn over, not wanting to start ww3 but one of my mates is a fireman, hes the most laziest bloke ive ever met and is always taking time off with a cold(obviously not self employed)he gave us a tour of the fire station once,to my surprise in there i found a badminton net set out across the fire engines, full size snooker table and a bloody great plasma telly in the games room!!!

...and you think that's an insult? I would point out, though, having a cold was enough to put you "on the box".. the reasoning used to be that you couldn't wear BA... dunno if that's still true...

"Turning a boat upside down"

Sorry only just seen the thread.

When she's rigged, ready to run, and it’s blowing a 7 at Brighton I'll come down and show you how!
