Upgrades for a smallblock

Does anybody in the uk do business in upgrading small blocks? IE 350 magnum?

I might be looking for some cams and roller rocks for a set of 350's?

Anyone knows of anybody who does these kind of tuning.?

Or "Real Steel" who specialise in V8 motors.

They advertise in marine press doing replacement motors.

Don't know anyone who has had a boat engine off them but a mate had a cobra with 5ltr ford in and that thing was a beast.

Not sure whether you will need different cam profiles for performance boat use though, I've never really got into modifying boat engines, temperamental car engines are enough and you aren't going to drift to America if one of those packs up!

I had a Vet with the small block engine and occasionally used to buy the British American car magazines there were always plenty of ad's from garage's that sold parts and or tuned them for drag racing or circuit racing, It might be worth buying an American car magazine from your country, as there are always plenty of small and big block engine suppliers listed, did buy over the years quite a lot of tuning magazines for Vets from TPI and Lingenfelter etc

I´d be you I´d install Turbos :-)

But then on the other hand keep the overlap to a minimum and you´re fine off. A cam with a duration at .050 from 225-235 is all you need. Lift at .500 MAX and you´ll have quite a stout cam in there, also you need to change the intake heads compression and exhaust to get it really moving (I assume you´re looking at 400-450hp)
Phantoms are in comparison of 21 footers heavy boats and do need power.
They ain´t exactly any Argos

If your boat is in Denmark why not do it there or over in Sweden ?
There´s plenty more experience in American iron in any of the Scandinavian countries than the rest of Europe Combined or USA for the matter As we speak!
Remeber who won the latest Jeg´s engine masters challenge, a Street Racer from Sweden!

PS I also have some Alfas...my dad even more, our cars are from 1960 2000 Berlino Lussos ,1961 2000 Spider to everything between Bertone and Alfetta GTV´s (Not Tipo 33´s YET).

Out of interest, what do you consider a 'light' 21' mono to be, and what would it weigh?
