Gave it a run yesterday. The lagging smoked and smelled a bit after a couple of miles but it had settled by our lunch stop at 15 miles and it had fully stabilised by the time wee got home at about 70 miles. Exhaust temp and max engine revs are exactly the same as with the Volvo original so I'm happy with that.
The lagging can be touched but you wouldn't want your fingers to linger there for long! So I'm guessing it's about 60°c. The exhaust flange to turbo has turned dark straw/brown and that indicates about 250°c. Just thought these temps might be useful info for anyone contemplating a lagged exhaust.
