Question water pressure

hi , I want to fit a water pressure gauge to a 90hp Yamaha, does any one know where the small male brass fitting that came with the kit screws in to the block to take the tubing.............thanks!

W/P Plug

Hi , Unscrew the plug (90340-14M00-00) located between the top and middle cylinder on the cylinder head on the left , not on the cover. The plug has an orange fibre seal ( 90430-14115-00 ) , although will probably been painted over from the factory. Does look like a fixing bolt , but is indeed a plug ! 14mm hex i think.

hi...thank for your reply.
have taken bolt out but seems blank sealed space once bolt removed, no access to water jacket of block for pipe to get pressure to work the gauge ,plus the fitting that came with the kit is tiny, any ideas .

W/P Plug

Drilling for a Temp switch sender then. My model was a 90aetol 2stroke.
2001. Will look out pictures on Monday if not sorted by then.
Have seen that plug drilled to accept a hose tail for pipe. If fitting smaller , is there a plug in the water jacket cover on exhaust side ? My plug definately had
water flow behind it.

Another thought. Does it tee into the tell tale hose perhaps.

you are right when I looked carefully there is a small opening in to the water jacket with the bolt/plug removed so thank you for your advise and have found part number for adapter...MAR-WPRES-AD-TR...to fit tubing too.
