weight of jack plates
does any one know the weight of a heavy duty vance jack plate?? or any other 6" jack plates as a guide

Heavy. I'd guess mine was about 15-20kg all in.

thanks larby, because my boat sits in a marina when i can afford it, the jack plates just corrode no matter what i try so thinking making up a grp gil bracket. just writing up the laminate spec and don't want to be heavier then the vance jack plate
