What end to put a marshan fuel tank?!

I know a fair few of you have owned marshans at one time or another, and I seem to remember a lot of talk about the nose being hard to get out of the water. If that's the case, am I better off with it in the back? Any input much appreciated cos I don't wanna be ripping it apart again and missing the two days of summer!

Hello mate,

My tank is 96L and it's 1M long, the back edge of the tank is level with the front edge of the engine well and runs up to about 750mm behind the seats.

I have a 60L bow tank too and the overall trim of the boat feels good.

Hope this helps, how is the boat coming along?

Thanks

Thanks, slowly but surely, put a gazebo over it yesterday ready for painting which promptly blew away last night! Oh well, these things are sent to try us (and they bloody well do!) Will stick the tank in the back for now, can always add another one later. Is your tank a plazzy one, or a stainless?
