thats what i thought but looking at my old 1st gen 150 XR2 powerhead i have in the garage it is very different, the 150 XR2 has 2 piece heads and a different air box configuration

as burty said,it looks more like a 2.5 block and heads

is there any other way to tell the CC, somethinng about a circle with a number in on the heads?

yeah, just compared it to my '99 200XR2 and it is almost identical, just has different carbs with weird looking plungers and lots of mixture/tickover screws an an old style steel flywheel (i thought all 200hp XR2's had the light ally flywheel?)

they will be pumper style carbs then.
the 150hp xr2's were based on the 2.4 block and changed early 90's to become 200hp based on the then new 2.5 block
