Which Set back

Hi

I want to buy a Hydraulic Jack plate for my ring 21 ...
I would like to know which set back should I take ?
Engine 225 promax with 3 blades prop (28")
I've also trim tabs ...

ok, well you need to find out how much setback the gill bracket gave you then get a lifter with the same amount i guess

I think most of the rings are 10" but I may be wrong. I'll be taking a look at a 21 tomorrow with standard set back so I'll let you know.

I regard Stainless Marine the strongest and best made of all of the jack plates from personal experience.

Hydraulic lift

I just purchased a CMC Manual lift and very pleased with the product. Email to Shane sales@magemarine.com they are about the cheapest (cheaper than CMC direct) and very helpfull www.magemarinestore.com 10" hydraulic 672$ or with indicator 788$ mine was shipped USPS and cost 158$ +£40 VAT and Parcel Force charge for handling, as $ =50p approx its still cheap ,it arrived 2 weeks from date of order and will have a tracking number sent from Magemarine.
Hope this is usefull.
