will this gearbox work for me?

found this-
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

i asked and he said its made buy Mercury as a none shifting locked in gear left hand gear box.
i have never heard of a locked gearbox before and was wondering how much work it would be to convert it to R/H rotation or back to a selectable box?
i have a spare standard for box for spares.
thanks

i have, and he said it is possible if i have the parts. i just wanna know how much work it is to change rotation. i am a skilled novice with a spanner

does it require any special tools or pullers to strip the box down? or is it just as simple as changing the selector arm inside over to my standard 1? never stripped a gearbox down past the impella housing

There's a few people with CLE's over here who may be happy to sell one, far less hassle!
