Wiring, help!!!

With the combined forces of your super powered brains I am wondering if you can answer my questioney

So I have four wires hanging out of my outboard, they come from the area around the trim piston. I am assuming at least two are to do with the trim gauge read out. How can I tell whats what?

I will take a look at the colours in a sec

Dan I will be on the water taxi tommorow too so I will see you out I'm sure. I will be piloting the small yellow taxi 'copper' until about tennish, then deckhanding on the larger one 'Coral Star' onwards till 6ish. See you on the water. Would be good to see how you got yours wired up

purple, blue, brown and black are the colours. Well kinda...they are all black really as the colours are a band that have been put on separately, I am assuming the colours are correct :P
