XR" Fuel Pump
Hi can anyone confirm how many litres per minute fuel pump would be required for an XR2 motor.Thanks Nic

Yeah 90LPH is about right, iv always run mine on either facet red top or holley low pressure pumps with a pressure regulator in line

What's wrong with a normal v6 pump more reliable, we always ran them with no problems.

It already has an electric pump but it would more at home on rusty old tractor, and I know it will go faster with a nice shiney one.my old boat had a regulator but this one doesn't,is it necessary?

Electric pump needs a regulator,(rob,ocrda will tell you the right psi) mechanical pump doesn't.

Not strictly true. Depends on pump psi and flow rate. Facet and holley both do one that can be used without a regulator as they are within the xr2 spec.
If memory serves me, 5-6 psi. Holley red top or facet silver top competition models. If you went with a holley blue or facet red or blue top then you would need a regulator to reduce the pressure.
