xr2 jetting question
i have a 1998 2.0 xr2, it has a cross drilled manifold, with wh46 carbs, these are 2.4 200 hp carbs, i am having trouble getting it right, it is used for edurance racing, also what rpm range do you think it should be propped to run in, thanks

Ya man is in Arizona (Lake Havasu), so shipping needs to be taken into account.

Jetting on an XR2 has been covered here before but I cant find the thread at the moment. If you are from Havasu as Jon posted obviously correction for Density Altitude

jetting
in order to make the jetting info valid we need to know the model of carb that is jetted a certain way, for example, the xr2 i am working with has wh46 carbs, which were not original issue, please include this info ,thanks

I would run it between 6 to 7000 rpm
as for setting up everyone has different ideas but the only true way is to either run it and read the pistons or use an EGT guage to try and establish a running temp of around 1100. however both methods will invole buying or borrowing lots of different jet sizes.
